Local Woman Makes a Difference

Catherine M. Laub, "The
Turquoise Lady", is participating in a virtual book launch for Voices
of the 21st Century: Conscious Caring Women Who Make a Difference,
by Gail and Carol Watson, on February 22. Laub, of Shippensburg, is a
contributing author to this fifth book in a series in which women from the
Women Speakers Association contribute their stories of success. The book is a
celebration of resilience. She states, "Be encouraged by these stories and
discover the secret that has been true all along: You are resilient, and you
have the power to rise and make a difference."
As an author, speaker, podcast host and spiritual guide, Laub empowers others to overcome stress, depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts, and accomplish things they never thought possible. At 63, she overcame her own deep depression and created systems using the color turquoise that help gain self-esteem, confidence, clarity and focus to remove the overwhelm of daily life.
The book will be available at VoicesOfThe21stCenturyBook.com, as well as on Amazon on Feb. 22, along with a Facebook live streaming event at the Women Speakers Association page at 3 p.m. For more information, call 443-732-0854, email [email protected] or visit thetqlady.com.
