Pawpaw Festival in York

Visitors can tour the regenerative farm and pawpaw orchard, enjoy kid-friendly activities and enter a raffle. The outdoor, family-friendly event will feature wild and cultivated varieties of pawpaw fruit and pawpaw trees to purchase, as well as pawpaw-inspired cookbooks, books and T-shirts. There will be local food vendors, artisans and community organizations. Fresh produce from the Horn Farm, native plants, jams, jellies and honey will be sold.
The Susquehanna Region’s pawpaw is the largest edible fruit native to the eastern United States. Growing abundantly in forests across the region, they fruit from late September to mid-October.
