Community Workshops Offer Practical Skills and Meaningful Connection

Refillism, an eco-lifestyle retail store and refillery, in York, is hosting two upcoming workshops focused on making sustainable and practical living more accessible. On June 12, participants can join a Keepmates Scrapbooking Night, followed by an Herbs for Dogs & Cats workshop on June 16 focused on natural pet care education.

Both workshops begin at 6:30 p.m. and are limited to small groups to encourage conversation, hands-on participation and individualized questions. “We’ve created these events with intention—not just to fill a calendar, but to give people something they can truly use in their daily lives,” says owner Elizabeth Bower.

The scrapbooking workshop is intended as a casual, social evening where participants can slow down, connect and create without needing prior experience. The herbal pet care session provides practical guidance on incorporating gentle plant-based support alongside traditional veterinary care, helping pet owners feel more confident in everyday wellness choices.

Cost: $30, Scrapbooking; $25, Herbs for Pets. Location: 2572 East ern Blvd., York. For more information and to register (required) call 717-356-2982, email [email protected] or visit Refillism.com/collections/workshops
