Utopian Retreat in Mechanicsburg

Carlisle Bowen Works is hosting a Utopian
Retreat from November 1 through 3, “creating a life you don't need to escape
from,” at the Waugh Wilson Retreat Center, in Mechanicsburg. Owner Nancy
Bittinger says, “This is a very different kind of retreat. It's not about
pampering and escaping. It's about learning new skills to take with you to
create a happier life—and some pampering.”
The retreat features optional classes in
three healing modalities, including Inner Knowing Hypnosis, tai chi, yoga,
guided meditation and breath work, Soul Collage/Vision Board, Intro to
Journaling, Sinus Massage, MTechnique, personal blending with essential oils,
"Fear is a Bully" Discussion, and Sound Immersion. Healing sessions include
Bowenwork, massage, medical qigong, Voila Method, reiki, facial reflexology,
Emmett Technique, shiatsu, craniosacral massage, Access Bars, hypnotherapy and
Body Talk.
The
