Open House at Palmyra Food Emporium

The Palmyra Real Food Emporium, a unique food
shopping experience, is having an open house from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., May 1, and
10 a.m. to 2 p.m., May 2, to kick off its second decade in business. Started in
2010, the Emporium’s mission is to make high-quality, real food available to
people that understand food is the foundation of their health and well-being.
The open house will feature food samples and
a round table discussion on food and health myths. A second discussion will
focus on the impact of agricultural on our health and the national economy.
There also will be free wine tastings of Red Shale Ridge award-winning wines
both days. Participants can meet and talk with Red Shale Ridge owner and winemaker
Tom Stutzman from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
