Palmyra Real Food Emporium Expands Variety

Palmyra Real Food Emporium has a new Customer
Appreciation Program that includes a card that receives a punch for purchases
that exceed the average for that month. After 20 punches, a $20 coupon is
awarded.
Owner Tom Maurer is putting more emphasis
on meat and seafood items, adding Texas-Style Smoked Pulled Pork from 4 to 6:30
p.m. on Fridays. Shoppers can get a sandwich, dinner (with coleslaw and chips),
the stacker and pints or quarts of pulled pork.
Maurer says, “Up to now, we have featured
the smoked salmon from our seafood supplier. It is an outstanding product, but
we wanted to try to make it even better. We will still use the same high-quality
Aukra Salmon from Norway, but we are now smoking our own Salmon.”
Patrons can also enjoy a free tasting of
some of the award-winning Red Shale Ridge Wines.
